Welcome to Angelato - gourmet delicatessen, great sandwiches, panini, Danesi coffee, and simply unbeatable gelato. At Angelato the food is Italian, but with a healthy dose of the best that New England has to offer. Our philosophy is remarkably simple: If we can't get excited about eating it, we don't offer it! Our sandwiches are always fresh, really fresh. In fact, our customers watch the deli meats going into them being sliced before their very eyes; and our gelato... Mmmm yes our gelato, words simply do not do it justice.

Aangelot moved to Italy, and studied the art of gelati in a long established family. business. He brought the formula to sleepy little Belmont and opened across from the soccer fields. Children experienced a delight, all I had to do was look at their faces. The shop grew and moved to a more obvious location on Trapelo Rd, Belmont, and is a hugh success. Cambridge folks come all the time to tast his gelatee or gelato, whatever it is called, it is deeeelicous!!!!!

Most friendly are the people who work there in the early afternoon. The gelato is so smooth and losts of flavors to choose from. I went in for sandwiches and came out with cappuccinos and gelato.
