Vacationing in Dennis Village wouldn't be possible without these fine establishments.Create a Guide >
-
Cape Cinema
Cute single screen cinema that brings some great movies down to the Cape. They only have one movie per week, with multiple showings on Fridays and Saturdays. Great popcorn too.
-
Buckie's Biscotti
Local bakery/coffee shop is in the basement of the village shops. They have great iced coffee for the hot summer afternoons and, of course, the biscotti is tremendous.
-
Dennis Public Market
Honestly, you can't ask for much more in a local market. They have some of the best cuts of meat on the Cape and have a great deli section.
-
Seven G's Liquors
The local wine shop has undergone a minor overhaul and now is much easier to walk around in. Good selection of beers and wines. Prices are on the high side, but I can't complain too much.
-
Captain Frosty's
The local clam shack serves some great fried fish at very reasonable prices. Everything from the clam strips, to fried scallops, fish and chips is really good. The kicker is that they have great soft serve ice cream beyond the vanilla/chocolate lameness. I love their black raspberry as well as coffee.
-
Tobey Farm
This farm stand along 6A has great fresh-picked corn and other produce as well as an excellent plant section
-
Ice Cream Smuggler
The local ice cream parlor has more flavors than I care to remember. Again I'm partial to the black raspberry, but everything here is excellent. Wish their hours were a bit longer.
-
Armchair Bookstore
Great little bookstore with a big selection. They have a lot of paperbacks which is clutch for the beach.
