Everyone knows Harvard Square is the #1 spot in Cambridge and probably Boston. I'm biased because I live there now, but it has great restaurants, great boutiques, perfect coffee spots (hello pamplona!), good bars -- and what other square can boast two movie theaters?

Where else can you buy a 20 sided die, fresh cask beer, and lamb vindaloo?

Inman Square's parking situation and T accessibility stinks, but everything else is awesome. You have to love S&S for brunch, the Druid for beers, and Ryles for live music. Cannot overlook Rosies for brownies or Ole for margaritas. I haven't even touched the goodness of Hell Night at East Coast. Love it.

I'm bias as well. Living in Coolidge Corner is awesome. I have access to everything I need (cvs, trader joes, stopnshop), a bunch of great (and unique) restaurants, and a movie theatre (cc or fenway). It's also very easy to reach out to Brighton/Allston and downtown. It's quiet, it's clean, and accessible. It's got my vote to say the least.

Teele Square certainly does not have all the glitz and glamor of a Davis, Harvard or Inman, but they have exactly what you need while maintaining a great community feel. A great cafe (Soleil), a classy neighborhood bar (PJ Ryan's), great spot for after work drinks (Rudy's), perfect breakfast places (Renee's and to a lesser degree Magnificent Muffins), good ethnic cuisine (Tip Top and Sabor). Parking is pretty easy (and often free) and you're within minutes of Davis Square T stop.

I would put Davis Square up against any other square in Boston when it comes to combination of culture, activities, dining options and nightlife. Huge plus for Somerville Theater and Redbones

Central may be dumpy and dirty, but it has the best selection of ethnic cuisine and the best music in all of Cambridge.

It has all the food you could ever want: Bukowski's for beer and a burger, Dhaba for Indian, Ole for Mexican, East Coast Grill for seafood, and the list goes on...all of these places are outstanding.

As much as I like being a resident in Inman, I still like Davis better. There's more local flavor in Inman, but the quantity of cool places near Davis still beats it out.

The eating is the best of them all - in my opinion. Olé, East Coast Grill and Christina's Homemade Ice Cream are all near the top of their respective categories. Parking is awful though.
