I like REI too, but I always shop local if I can. I bought a great sleeping bag here - the salesperson was very helpful and gave some good advice on which bag to get.

EMS is great, but it doesn't have evrything that everybody needs. REI does. Also, the prices are better and there are some great sales.

Hilton's staff is great and they do carry some hard to find items, but REI takes the cake on selection and price.

I wanted to go local and go for Joe Jones, but I was in there and I couldn't find any stove fuel the other day.

You can always find a great sale at the location on Comm. Ave. Helpful staff and an awesome selection.

ya, tent city is pretty good, but Wilderness House is right around the corner from where I live, so the tie goes to them.
