Jack Stack makes great barbeque the Kansas City way - with lots of sauce! Fiorella's uses a sweet sauce reminiscent of KC Masterpiece. This location is the flagship store and it is always packed and always has a line for takeout. It's wood-furnished from floor to ceiling inside and has a good atmosphere for dining with family and friends. Their burnt ends and pulled pork "Pour Russ" sandwich are popular choices for meals, but what really makes Jack Stack special is the side dishes. People routinely carry-out just pints or quarts of their side dishes. The baked beans are the best I've ever had - sweet and saucy with lots of meat in them. Their cheesy corn bake is a delicious side somewhat similiar to mac n cheese except it used sweet corn in a cheese sauce. This place is the absolute best if you enjoy sweet, saucy barbeque. They also have a spicy sauce, but the sweet is what makes it here. If you like tangy sauces go somewhere else.
