Discovery Gallery has unique art by new artists. The owners are always finding new talent. On weekends, the gallery has a party atmosphere, and the staff is very knowledgable and helpful. Also great at choosing frames to suit the art. The staff will bring art you your house and let you live with it while you make your decision. What more could you want from an art gallery? I love this gallery. Nothing in DC compares.

Discovery galleries offers a wide awry of unique artists whom emphasize quality and creativeness. The staff at Discovery work very hard to acquaint you with the artist, and they are very professional in their understanding of those that visit. They treat you right and provide great service from the beginning to the end.

Great selection of of original artwork by their local artists - as well as national and international works for sale. Great atmosphere in the gallery: really welcoming and unpretentious. It's fun to go in and just "hang out". You never feel pressured. Staff is so friendly and will jump through hoops to help you find what you are looking for. They are also the best framers in town and have prices to match!

The variety of art that they find is impressive! The owner has a good eye for selecting work from all over the world. I especially enjoy seeing work from Latin America.

Boots and Julie and the entire Discovery team are fabulous. I have been a loyal client for over a decade. The art and artists are interesting, unique and accessible. My children have learned to appreciate art through this gallery. I love the fact that there is no pretense or puffery at Discovery - just warm folks who are passionate about art and people. -Kerrie Campbell

Discovery has a wonderful staff and a warm friendly space. They are right on Bethesda Avenue, making it easy and inviting to wander in after a great meal in one of the many nearby restaurants. We are big fans of the artist Rob Gonsalves and Discovery is the best place in the country to see his work. A trip to Bethesda for food and art makes for a perfect summer evening.
