Fistful of Fifties is a Virginia based rock band that was formed during the Fall of 2004. Having orgasmicaly rocked the Northern Virginia area collectively for a little over a year now, they're down to Earth gentlemen. Fistful of Fifties still actively performs and is always seeking new venues to spread their entertaining antics. The group consists of four talented members; Matt Matis leads the group with his melodious vocals and rhythm guitar, David Saylor on his Hendrix style lead guitar playing and back – up vocals, Josh Pearson as the ever - so entertaining percussion master, and Joey Achtzener the bass guitar expert. Their style transcends from many musical influences from the early nineties, such as Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, and even Cake. The list goes on and on, and the tunes keep coming and coming. They never cease to amuse and always seemingly captures the crowd's attention. Whether it would be David's acrobatic guitar antics or Joe's wicked yet childish smiles at the ladies. There is always something that grabs the attention of the on-lookers. Behold the Fistful of Fifties whose faces will be marked in your minds forever. If not forever at least for the day you witness them on stage.
