Consigning Women Apparel (CWA) has changed it's name to Notorious and remains one of the most elegant and fun shops in the greater Washington, DC area featuring a large collection of carefully selected designer labels, fun clothing and a huge “Plus Department”. BUT adds the element of customer service to the mix. We are closed Tuesday and Wednesday each week to shop for the items that YOU tell us you would like, so we open Thursday through Monday with a "New Collection" each week. We buy New and Resale items that are 'one of a kind' just for YOU.

The ladies here are always friendly and helpful. They are honest with you if something doesn't look just right on you. They want happy customers - not just sales. They go the extra mile to satisfy you.

Always found the best for my dollars and the people who work there to be so friendly and helpful, not pushy. I still stop by when I am in town as I now live in Texas. They also let me know when something I am interested in comes in. I have been with them for over 10 yrs. and recommend them to all my friends.

Fantastic Customer Service, even the little ones are made to feel welcome. Return customers inevitably find that one or two items have been "set aside" for them to have first pick at, and special requests are gladly accepted. Sam Shockley offers to act as Personal Shopper for you through her many contacts as a resale buyer. I bring all my friends to Consigning Women Apparel first and see the others afterwards!

I have always found the latest fashion at Consigning Women. No matter what occasion I have needed something for I could find it there. The customer service is excellent too. I love the uniqueness of the clothing.

It's a relaxing place to be, they get in new clothes all the time, and they're very friendly without being intrusive. Their coffee and cookies are welcoming.

CWA has the most attentive and friendliest staff anywhere! I have bought much of my wardrobe from them including casual wear, cruise wear, and a full length mink coat. It is an enjoable experience and they always have or get what you are looking for!

I have shopped at several resale shops in the area and the only one that I return to is Consigning Women Apparel. Why, because the clothes that are for sale are very stylish with designer labels, affordably priced and there is always a good selection available. It is by far a wonderful shopping experience and the hours are fantastic.
