I am 52 and the last time I was in real good physical condition was about 20 years ago. Since then it's been a few workouts here or there or activities like bike riding and telling myself that was enough to allow me to eat and drink whatever I wanted. Last October, at 5-9 and 193 pounds, with 24% body fat, tired of aerobics that don'w work and Atkins diets that work only for a little while, I decided it was time to not just to lose weight but to shed fat and gain muscle, time to fit into some 32-inch pants instead of 38s or 36s ... time to look in the mirror and shake my head up and down instead of sideways. I found Josef's Web site and liked what I saw and, fast forward from October to now, I am at 172 with about 13% body fat and, whaddya know, actual body definition from the developed muscles that now strain at the skin instead of hide behind a layer of fat. Josef doesn't just come up with a personalized plan for you, he explains what it does and why it will work if you stick with it. He doesn't tell you you can drop the fat and gain the muscle by lying around watching TV or by popping some miracle pill, the only thing that works, he tells you from the beginning, is work. And proper diet (which includes real good food). And a good attitude. That one's easy to maintain when you start seeing results like these.

I dropped 7lbs of body fat within my first 6 days! I didn't even believe it was true because it was the least amount of work I've ever put into a diet. At my first session with Josef he did an assessment and based on that assessment he had created a personalized work-out plan specifically for my body (all typed up and with pictures of the exercises as well!). So now when I go to the gym by myself I know exactly what I have to do. Before training with Josef, I would do cardio for awhile and then pretend to lift or do crunches. I had no idea what I was really doing, but now I feel confident when I work-out. Also, the diet itself is not too bad either. I eat plenty of good food and never feel hungry. Josef also gives you great recipes! Getting measured weekly and seeing real results encourages me to keep working even harder. Josef is a great trainer, he makes staying healthy easy and fun!

Whatever your goals, you will be doing a great thing for yourself if you put your trust in Josef as your trainer. I've been going to the gym for years and years, but not until working with Josef have I seen such amazing results, which I started noticing within even the first 2 of working with him. The best part is, I'm spending less time in the gym than I used to (only 3 hours/week) and, following Josef's cutting-edge nutrition plan, I'm eating food that I love, and NEVER going hungry or restricting calories (and it's working)! Losing fat, gaining muscle, and transforming your body are WAY less work than I imagined with Josef's program. He's really shown me that working out hard has nothing to do with working out SMART. (And with all of Josef's education in the field and experience, he will definitely show you how to work out smart.) Plus, working out with Josef is just plain fun. I can confidently say that Josef is the best trainer in the DC area, and if you pass up a chance to work with him, you will be doing yourself a real disservice!

Josef has been my trainer for 2 1/2 years and I have a brand new body. He gets results! I've lost over 20 lbs of fat and 6 inches around my mid section. And I have not regained any fat! Josef gives personalized, targeted workouts and nutritional advice that works and is practical. He trains you to use your body properly so that you aren't injured and so that you get results from your workouts. He doesn't just sit there and count your reps -who needs that?
You learn how to exercise and eat the right way and you get new workouts every 4-6 weeks which fit into your schedule.
Also, I'm over 50 and am not dependent on prescription drugs for high blood pressure, etc.

If you want a trainer that knows his stuff and is actually certified then Josef and The Body You Want is what you are looking for. Through his coaching I have had major results and learned how to workout correctly and he's taught me how to eat for a healthy life. He has great positive energy and wants to help you reach your goals by your deadline. Beach season is almost here and I am already ready for it!
