I loved my wedding photos 8 years later. Rodney was awesome. He helped jump one of the limos that died to get my family to the wedding!

Rodney Bailey did our daughters wedding in April 2005. It was a wonderful experience with over 1800 pictures to review. No closed eyes in any. He captured the most wonderful day of our daughter's life!! Even with rain, he provided the best of photographs. We went with Rodney because of his unique approach to wedding books. Instead of the standard, he does in a magazine style, mixing multiple photographs on a page, telling the story of the day!!

Everyone who has seen my wedding album has been just amazed. It is beautiful, personal, and very unique - exactly what we wanted. Rodney was also extremely professional. We barely knew he was there, but he managed to capture so many individual moments. I wouldn't think of using anyone else.

I was so amazed by how professional and fun to be around Mr. Bailey was. The photo album that he created of our special day actually made my husband and me cry when we first saw it. Even subsequent viewings bring a tear to the eye. We have, and will continue to recommend Mr. Bailey to everyone dear to us who simply wants perfection in photography for one of the most special days of their lives.

Rodney Bailey is absolutely amazing! Not only is he extraordinarily talented, he is hands down the most generous photographer in DC, consistently sharing both his time and his talent. He constantly gives back to the community by donating images, collaborating on projects and speaking about photojournalism as a career. He truly has set the standard for both creative technique and professionalism.

Rodney has a phenomenal ability to be everywhere, and yet never be seen. During my wedding, which Rodney photographed beautifully, he captured some of the most touching moments and we never knew he was there. He knew exactly what I wanted to capture even when I didn't, and our pictures could not have been more perfect. His photojournalistic approach, coupled with his unique and artistic album layout, makes flipping through the pages of my wedding album a true joy -- like re-living the wedding every time. Our wedding was over a year ago, and I am still blown away by Rodney's artistry and grace. His friendly and easygoing personality made working with him before, during, and after the wedding that much more fun.

We interviewed several photographers and finally went with Mark Bettinger from Rodney Bailey because his pictures were great and he had worked many many weddings at the site we picked. We ended up with over 2300 photos of our June wedding!! They are absolutely beautiful and captured the laughter, joy, tears and sheer fun we all had. And I never felt that they were in the way. We couldn't have asked for anything better.

He is an absolute professional to work with. During a wedding he is nearly invisible - it's easy to forget he's there, but he presents the most detailed, natural, candid, beautiful photographs. His photography tells a story and he is a natural at what he does.
