Cool space, good drinks, but I wasn't too impressed with the food. Music also seemed a bit loud for a dinner joint.
The Arsenal Mall doesn't have much going for it...the Marshalls is ok and there is a Filenes upstairs, but really this is a pretty mediocre mall.
This is the mall I grew up on and it's only improved with the addition of Nordstrom's and the new(ish) Cheesecake Factory. Big Macy's and Lord and Taylor as well as most of the small niche stores. The Anthropologie seems to be popular.
Bayview Beach is a simple, but great beach. It's resident-only parking so you don't get quite as much riff-raff as you would at Mayflower (just down the road). A lot of families, but if you want some space to your own there is usually some to be found.
Great little bookstore with a big selection. They have a lot of paperbacks which is clutch for the beach.
I routinely travel all the way from Dennis Village to Red Cottage because it is hands down the best breakfast spot I have ever been to.
The menu is extensive, but I usually hone in on the Eggs Benedict or my favorite omelette: apple maple sausage, caramelized onions and vermont cheddar. The home fries are otherworldly too.
The local wine shop has undergone a minor overhaul and now is much easier to walk around in. Good selection of beers and wines. Prices are on the high side, but I can't complain too much.
This farm stand along 6A has great fresh-picked corn and other produce as well as an excellent plant section
Honestly, you can't ask for much more in a local market. They have some of the best cuts of meat on the Cape and have a great deli section. Don't miss out on their famous red bliss potato salad. If only they had a fish counter...
